On 18 June the Italian Residence in Wellington hosted an “Opera Evening” to mark the NZ Opera production of “Le Nozze di Figaro” celebrating the art and the enduring beauty of the Italian Libretto.
The evening was enriched by the enchanting performance of Baritone James Clayton and Soprano Sarah Mileham. Performing both individually and together, they delighted guests with “Là ci darem la Mano”, one of the most famous and celebrated duets from “Don Giovanni”
They were accompanied by Brad Cohen, General Director of New Zealand Opera.
