NATURAL DISASTERS AND EMERGENCIES
  • In the event of a natural disaster or major emergency, the New Zealand Police will activate a dedicated webpage on the ICRC “Restoring Family Links” platform:  https://familylinks.icrc.org/en/pages/home.aspx
On the page it is possible to register and indicate your status as “I am alive” (nationality is mandatory). You may also report missing persons by entering their personal details and selecting the status “missing”. Once submitted, the information becomes public and allows the New Zealand Police to initiate search procedures and the Embassy to verify and update the number of missing Italian nationals.
  • Emergency satellite phone:  📞 + 87 (0) 776 442 074
