PAYMENT OF PENSIONS ABROAD FOR THE YEARS 2025-2026

Please note that INPS has announced the start of the second phase of the campaign to verify the existence of pensioners residing abroad with reference to the years 2025 and 2026, which will affect all beneficiaries of pension benefits collected abroad.

The verification phase will affect residents in Europe, Africa and Oceania and will take place from 17 September 2025 to 15 January 2026. Citibank N.A. will launch this verification campaign by sending an explanatory letter and a standard certification form to pensioners. The certification must be returned to the bank by 15 January 2026. If the certificate is not produced, the February 2026 payment will, if possible, be made in cash at Western Union agencies in the country of residence. If the payment is not collected in person or the life certificate is not produced by 19 February 2026, pension payments will be suspended starting with the March 2026 payment.
