The Embassy of Italy is pleased to announce the return of the Nelson Italian Festival, an initiative aimed at showcasing Italian culture in New Zealand and strengthening ties between the two communities.

Lower Trafalgar Street, Trafalgar Park & Club Italia – Nelson
The event, free and open to the public, will feature cultural activities, music, food, opportunities for community engagement and activities bringing the Italian atmosphere to the heart of Nelson.
For the 2026 edition, the festival is also part of the Nelson Italian Week, a broader ten-day programme including film screenings and cultural initiatives across the city.
