We wish to advise of the appointment of Ms Lindsey Jones as the new Italian Honorary Consul in Auckland. The appointment is effective since today April the 1st.
Lindsey Jones replaces Ms Bernadette Luciano, who has been our Honorary Consul from 2015. We wish to thank Bernadette for all the remarkable work she has done in support of the Italian community in Auckland in the last 4 year.
A first-generation New Zealander, Lindsey studied Italian and music at the University of Auckland. She later completed a degree in law and was for many years a partner in one of New Zealand’s major corporate law firms, specialising in competition (anti-trust) law. Lindsey completed an Honours degree in Italian at the University of Auckland in 2017 and she continues to practice law in her own name. Lindsey has attended language schools in Rome and has travelled frequently and extensively in Italy.
Lindesy is available to receive the public – preferably via appointment – at her address (28 Marine Parade, Herne Bay, Auckland 1011), during the following office hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays afternoon from 2pm to 5.30pm. Lindsey can be contacted via email at auckland.onorario@esteri.it (preferred contact) and for urgent matters via phone at: 027 4715 057.
