At the end of March, the Honorary Consulate of Italy in Auckland hosted an evening dedicated to music and art.
Italian pianist Flavio Villani performed a solo recital featuring works by Bach-Busoni, Brahms and César Franck, alongside one of his own compositions. The evening also included artworks by Māori artist Star Gossage, presented alongside the concert. The event concluded with a reception offering Italian wines, cheeses and traditional sweets.
We are proud to support initiatives that bring together Italian and New Zealand artists.
