Echoing Umberto Eco |  A Conversation on His Legacy

The Embassy of Italy in Wellington, in partnership with Victoria University of Wellington and Unity Books, is pleased to present Echoing Umberto Eco, a commemorative event marking ten years since the passing of one of Italy’s most influential intellectuals.

The conversation will be led by Professor Marco Sonzogni of Victoria University of Wellington and will feature the participation of the Ambassador of Italy to New Zealand Cristiano Maggipinto.

The event offers an opportunity to reflect on Eco’s enduring contribution to literature, semiotics, and critical thought, and to explore the relevance of his work in today’s cultural landscape.
