Operational Halt Of The Vis It System:
13 February, 6:00 am – 18 February, 12:00 pm, 2026 (NZ time)
Please be informed that from 6:00 am (NZ time) on February 13, 2026, until 12:00 pm (NZ time) on February 18, 2026, the VIS operating system will undergo a temporary operational halt.
This is a scheduled and urgent technical intervention that will result in the temporary suspension of both visa application receipt and processing, as well as the issuance of entry visas. This suspension will affect the operations of the Visa Office at the Italian Embassy in Wellington.
Please note that, in order to minimize the inconvenience to users, appointments already scheduled will be rescheduled to the days immediately before or after the period of the operational halt, taking into proper consideration priority needs and urgent cases.
